Barbera Fermentation Tours
Weekends in February @ Vino Noceto Tasting Room It's Barbera month @ Vino Noceto! There's a lot that goes into winemaking before the pour - take a look through the eyes of our 2009 Linsteadt Barbera to see how years of experimentation in the fermentation and aging processes have led Vino Noceto to produce quality wines year after year. This is a rare opportunity for the public, and the number of participants are limited. Visit http://vinonocetowinterwinetours.chirrpy.com to reserve your spot.
Barbera for President!
Presidents' Weekend (FEB 18 - 20) @
Vino Noceto Tasting RoomWe think our Linsteadt Barbera is
king (well, President), and we want to celebrate its election as
Shenandoah Valley's next great varietal by extending a Presidents' Day
Weekend special on the release of our 2009 Linsteadt Barbera, as well as
our Barbera Grappa. It's a great day to stop by Vino Noceto and see why
our Sangiovese and Barbera make for a winning 'ticket' in the Valley.

Behind The Cellar Door, one of our favorite annual events, featuring 36 Amador County wineries. This year's theme,
Vive le Vin!, focuses on Amador's great Mediterranean varietals. Vino Noceto will feature a full Italian lineup -- Sangiovese, Moscato, Barbera, Pinot Grigio -- plus a barrel sampling of several Sangiovese oak trials. Look for some great food, gourmet desserts, and awesome specials.
On Saturday at noon, winemaker Rusty Folena will present a seminar titled 20 Years of
Experimentation in Fermentation. On Sunday, from 9:30 to 11 AM, we'll turn the tasting room into an Italian bar and caffe, as we present
Brunch with the Winemaker -- a continental brunch featuring our soon-to-be-famous Caffe Coretto and Peach Bellini (
reservations required). For more information, or to reserve tickets for
