Our estate-grown Trebbiano proves our pioneering spirit is alive and well!  Trebbiano has been co-fermented with Sangiovese to create our Misto for years;  today, we are excited to finally give this grape the spotlight.  Notes of tangerines, dried apricots, white peaches, and fresh herbs mingle with a lovely richness from sur lie aging.  Don't drink it too cold - and be sure to give it time in your glass to open up.  Grab a bottle and taste history in the making.

Our 2021 Rosato di Sangiovese is dry, delicate, and delicious.  For this vintage, half of the Sangiovese is made in the saignée tradition – about 10% of the Sangiovese juice destined to become red wine is removed after 12-24 hours on the skins. This pink juice then ferments separately in a stainless steel tank. This process produces a delightfully aromatic, savory, dry rosé, with the added bonus of giving the remaining red wine a more concentrated flavor.

The 2021 Frivolo is a light, refreshing Moscato wine with a slight spritz, patterned after an Italian Moscato d’Asti. In the Piemonte region of Italy, it is used as a refreshing aperitif. This unique style of Moscato is produced from a blend of mostly moscato bianco plus some orange muscat. The grapes were sourced from several northern California vineyards.

Canaiolo Nero is best known as the ubiquitous sidekick to Sangiovese.  In small amounts, it improves, supports, and refines a way that never steals the spotlight from the more famous grape.  With this bottling, Canaiolo Nero takes center stage.  It tastes of refreshing red fruit, delicate flowers, and tangy balsamic.  Its lighter body and tannins make it deliciously drinkable.

Teroldego, a richly colored, esoteric grape, hails originally from the Noce River basin at the foot of the Italian Alps.  Our Noce di Noce tastes of crushed berries, with a touch of earth and black pepper and a snappy acidity.  Full-bodied but light on its feet.  Try with Carbonara.

If Dos Oakies is King, Marmellata is Queen.  Richer, more opulent fruit wafts from the glass, mingling with notes of chocolate, baking spice, coffee, and vanilla.  Marmellata is known for being our jammiest Sangiovese, with a beautiful velvet mouth-feel.  Grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Biondi Santi in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy.  This wine is a perennial favorite for our Big Nut club members, and it rivals Dos Oakies as the first to sell out.  100% Sangiovese Grosso.

No Single Block has evolved over the years as much as Hillside.  This is a wine that has "grown up" with every consecutive vintage.  It was our 2015 Hillside that so impressed the judges at the California State Fair, they awarded it "Best Sangiovese in California."

This vintage is Sangiovese Piccolo coming from the hillside on our ranch-house parcel and our neighbors at Reward Ranch. Sangiovese grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Isole e Olena in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

This is the vineyard that started Vino Noceto and is still the source of some of our most profound and ageable Sangioveses.  With formidable structure, reserved fruit, and pronounced, savory notes of leather, cedar, and clay, it is usually the first Single Block to sell out.  100% Sangiovese Grosso.

The story?  Dos Oakies comes from the oldest portion of our vineyard, planted in 1987, between the tall, thin oak and the now-departed short, stout oak.  Grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Il Poggione in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy.
