Our Misto is made in the traditional Chianti style - Sangiovese co-fermented with Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano, and Malvasia – our “once-upon-a-time” wine. We spent years perfecting a field-blend of these four grapes to replicate the traditional recipes of the Chianti wines of yore. The result is one of our freshest and most compelling Sangioveses - a perennial team favorite. Savor aromas of rose petal, wild strawberries, and dried cherries.

If Dos Oakies is King, Marmellata is Queen. Richer, more opulent fruit wafts from the glass, mingling with notes of chocolate, baking spice, coffee, and vanilla. Marmellata is known for being our jammiest Sangiovese, with a beautiful velvet mouth-feel. Grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Biondi Santi in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy. This wine is a perennial favorite for our Big Nut club members, and it rivals Dos Oakies as the first to sell out. 100% Sangiovese Grosso.

No Single Block has evolved over the years as much as Hillside. This is a wine that has "grown up" with every consecutive vintage. It was our 2015 Hillside that so impressed the judges at the California State Fair, they awarded it "Best Sangiovese in California."
This vintage is Sangiovese Piccolo coming from the hillside on our ranch-house parcel and our neighbors at Reward Ranch. Sangiovese grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Isole e Olena in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy.

This is the vineyard that started Vino Noceto and is still the source of some of our most profound and ageable Sangioveses. With formidable structure, reserved fruit, and pronounced, savory notes of leather, cedar, and clay, it is usually the first Single Block to sell out. 100% Sangiovese Grosso.
The story? Dos Oakies comes from the oldest portion of our vineyard, planted in 1987, between the tall, thin oak and the now-departed short, stout oak. Grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Il Poggione in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy.
