Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Canaiolo Nero
A true taste of the past. Our Misto is made in the traditional Chianti style - a field blend of our estate-grown fruit: Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Malvasia, and Trebbiano. The white grapes in the blend give the wine unmistakable notes of citrus and tropical fruit - a unique litheness the other Blocks don't have. Misto is a staff-favorite because of its unique flavor profile and depth.

Jammy, spicy, earthy, rich, big, meaty, with anise, chocolate, coffee, and a lingering finish. 100% estate Sangiovese Grosso.
"This rich and relatively soft block-designated wine has a lighter-than-usual color, a rich, buttery aroma and jammy flavors that recall strawberries and plums. It's a smooth variation on the often tannic and restrained personality of Sangiovese." -Wine Enthusiast

Last call! We are down to our final cases!
If Dos Oakies is King, Marmellata is Queen. Richer, more opulent fruit wafts from the glass, mingling with notes of chocolate, baking spice, coffee, and vanilla. This wine is a perennial favorite for our Big Nut club members, and it rivals Dos Oakies as the first to sell out.
Additional club and volume discounts apply.

The 2010 Dos Oakies Sangiovese is distinctly cherry-berry with ripe, baked fruit and a subtle hint of mushroom. The palate is soft and velvety but grips the tongue with its long, earthy finish.
The 2011 Dos Oakies is one of the earthier and spicier vintages of Dos Oakies. Its medium-ripe fruit is in the realm of rhubarb and is accompanied by spicy minerality and earthiness.
The 2012 vintage of Dos Oakies is driven by cedar and wood. It has an easy texture with moderate tannins and notes of leather and cherries. This wine will likely continue to mature into a deep, earthy Sangiovese with mild, sweet fruit.
4+ stars - Restaurant Wine
Great structure and classic Italian, Sangiovese flavors, this 100% estate Sangiovese Grosso comes from the oldest portion of our vineyard, planted in 1987, between the tall, thin oak and the now-departed short, stout oak. Grapes for this selection were originally sourced from Il Poggione in Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy.
