"Noceto’s Zinfandel bottlings from the Original Grandpère Vineyard – a site planted over one hundred and fifty years ago and reputedly the oldest, still-producing Zin vineyard in the state – defy expectations for old-vine Amador County versions in that they are outside of the big and burly norm.
