2020 Teroldego "Noce di Noce"
In Stock
Teroldego, a richly colored, esoteric grape, hails originally from the Noce River basin at the foot of the Italian Alps. Our Noce di Noce tastes of crushed berries, with a touch of earth and black pepper and a snappy acidity. Try with Carbonara.

Deep blue-crimson color. Spice and blackberry fruit leap out of the glass. A hint of oak and light tannins complete the flavors. In the Trentino-Alto Adige, Teroldego is usually vinted to make a lighter, early drinking red. But this one is a keeper. The AVA is Clarksburg, which is a relatively warm (Region 3) area in California, tho its heat is modified by the Sacramento River Delta. I'm not a particular fan of Italian Teroldego, but this one is terrific!
