Tour of Italy Trio

No country on earth has more vinous diversity than Italy. Well over 300 grapes are grown on the Italian peninsula (some estimates put that figure much, much higher). We are fortunate that a few of them grow so exceptionally well in our area.
This trio includes:
2020 Teroldego: (taste Trentino-Alto Adige) crushed berries, with a touch of earth and black pepper and a snappy acidity. Full-bodied but light on its feet. Double Gold Medal, Best Red Wine
2017 AX-1 Sangiovese: (taste Montalcino) our brunello style sangiovese. Our AX-1 project aims to make the absolute best Sangiovese on this side of the Atlantic. Gold Medal
2018 Aglianico: (taste Basilicata) this is possibly Amador's "next best thing" - sun-loving and drought-tolerant, Aglianico produces massive wines of power, poise, and longevity. Silver Medal
